George Lee Sye
‘Life itself is an incredible education’
George Lee Sye left school at 15 years of age. With little education, but tremendous motivation and drive he started his working life as a builder’s labourer. He obtained a trade certificate (and apprentice of the year) before moving into Government Service in the mid 80s.
Over a period of 10 years he played a significant role in more than 400 high risk jobs as a member of a police special operations group. Motivated by two jobs that ‘went wrong’ during the late 1980s, he began a life-long study of human behaviour with a focus on finding answers to a number of key questions.
- What drives people’s behaviour and causes them to act in certain and often conflicting ways in different situations?
- Why do some people really perform or achieve success in getting a specific outcome while others don’t, regardless of the circumstances?
- What are the keys to building rapport and creating connection with any person as a basis for influencing their behaviour?
George has since gone on to obtain an MBA and apply his incredible breadth and depth of experience with human behaviour and rapid achievement in a range of leadership roles.
